The Lord Street site, once a council-owned car park, is set to undergo a major transformation. This 1.5-acre site is set to become a mixed-use development, featuring 156 new homes, retail spaces, and office accommodation.

Latest update

Gravesham Borough Council made the decision to sell the site in 2019. The private sector is now driving the development forward. The site is a key town centre location and contribute to the ongoing growth of Gravesend.

A planning consent was achieved in November 2023, for a housing led development with commercial space. Hoardings have recently been installed on the site to stop the unofficial parking that was occurring on the site.

Subject to wider economic conditions, the site is due to come forward for delivery.
